Summary of "Season 3 - iAm Happy They Didn't Ditch Season Sets":
Are you confused by this being "The Complete Third Season" when episode guides list 16 episodes for season 3? Well, don't be confused, just read on! TV shows are usually released on DVD in broadcast order; the first episode of the season is the first on the disc, and so on. Sometimes a studio decides it makes more sense to release a show in production order (the order the episodes are shot, edited and produced), which can be different from broadcast order. iCarly is one of the shows released in production order, so these "Season 3" are actually most of what episode guides call "Season 4." It appears they produced a ton of episodes for "Season 2", and they were broken up and aired over two seasons, and released on 3 sets. So now you know why what you hold in your hand is different from what episode guides will list, just know that you have all the episodes you're supposed to have.

I usually wince a little bit when I watch the first episode on a new set, but I quickly warm up to the show. It's extremely cheesy, and I still really hate the laugh track, but it's a fun show. It's a shame the featurettes are just short fluff pieces, but I guess it's better than nothing. (read entire review)

Summary of "iSaved Your Life - Anymore Season Sets?":
iCarly is often a very, very silly show, but the kids obviously love it. Okay, I'll admit to cracking a smile from time-to-time as well. The one thing that drives me a bit crazy is the laugh-track. Nope, no studio audience for this show, which explains why the "audience" is often laughing at things that aren't really that funny.

I'm a bit worried that the season sets for this series are over with. The last one (Season 2, Vol 1) came out in August, 2009, and since then there have been two releases with a collection of episodes ("iFight Shelby Marx" in March, 2010, and this one). (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 1, Vol. 1 - iLike It":
While I'm soooo far outside of the target demographic for this show, I can see the appeal it certainly has with the 'tweens. The show features cool technology and kids that know how to use it, plus some of the new lingo like "chillax" (chill and relax). The kids are fun to watch though the show can be a bit silly at times. Chances are you already know about the show if you have a 'tween in the house, and this would make for a great addition to the DVD library. (read entire review)
