Summary of "The Complete 2nd And 3rd Seasons - Are you kidding me??": If you've been following my reviews over the past few days then you know I'm sick (flu/cold/whatever else) - really sick. There aren't any plot twists or complex storylines to keep track of, so this was a perfect show to watch. Thankfully I'm not suffering from nausea, because many of the scenes in this show would have pushed me over the top.
These guys are completely insane. They wreck things left and right, and run up a huge repair tab. Maybe one of the future DVDs can contain a "Damage List" with all the items they destroy and their approximate costs, a bit like the "bite list" on the Wildboyz DVDs. Hmmm...maybe I'll suggest that to MTV Home Video. I missed the commentary tracks for the set; the season 1 commentaries were great.
I have one question after watching this set; How the heck did they get Academy Award-winner Sean Penn to be in the show?
Here's a suggestion to make your viewings of the show even better; play the Viva La Bam drinking game. Every time Ape says, "Are you kidding me?" pound one back, and if Don Vito raises his voice take two shots. You'll get a lot of life out of the set that way because you're unlikely to make it through an entire episode, and I'm not kidding you. (read entire review)
The Complete 1st Season - Those silly Jackasses (3/22/2005)
Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Those silly Jackasses": This is a very crazy show. I feel for Bam's parents, but if they didn't enjoy it they could always move away. The commentary tracks were pretty good, and I like that they included commentary for everything; it provides more value for the consumer. Fans of Jackass will want to pick this one up.
