Summary of "Creating Home Decor with Designer Doug Wilson - Super Doug": It makes sense to release the episodes in themed sets since each Trading Spaces is self-contained. I'd like to see some celebrity discs, or some of the specials. Speaking of specials, I wonder why they didn't include Doug on the $100,000 special, or the one featuring his family. Those seem like two obvious choices for a Doug-themed set. I think "Tampa: Amelia Avenue" features the only Hilda designed room I didn't hate!

Summary of "Great Kitchen Designs And More! - Hilda, what have you done?": This show gives me so many ideas for things to do to my condo (I moved in this past December), but I'm still afraid I'd mess something up. The walls are bare, the colors are neutral, and it's begging to be jazzed up. Maybe Trading Spaces will come to Canada sometime!
Does anyone else think Hilda's designs are totally impractical, and completely insane? Hello, 4000 wine labels on the walls in the kitchen? What is she thinking? I don't think it's as bad as the grass she put on the walls in another episode I saw (not on this DVD), but it's pretty close. They should release a DVD with just Hilda designs, with commentary from her where she explains her designs.
There's another release coming the same day which features Doug Wilson. I'll be reviewing that sometime in the next week. (read entire review)

Summary of "Best of Trading Spaces - Simple premise, great show!": I rarely recommend the purchase of a "Best Of" disc because they are usually very short and carry a high price tag. That's not the case with The Best of Trading Spaces. I thought the content on the disc was great, except for the lack of the extras mentioned about. With a suggested retail price of $19.98, and etailers such as Amazon.com selling it for under $15, fans of the show can't go wrong by picking this up. I'd also recommend it for the casual viewer, or the new fan (like myself). (read entire review)
