Summary of "Vol 2: Far From Home - Better release than the first one":
This would have been a much better "Vol 1" release for the show. I had no idea what was going on with the previous release because they didn't include any of the first episodes. This one came with the unaired pilot, which helped to introduce the characters, and clarified what the show was about.

I'm not really attached to this show, but I still enjoy watching it. I probably just need to see more episodes. (read entire review)

Summary of "Vol 1: The Wedding Frame - Not a good Vol 1 release":
I have to say that this is a pretty crappy first release for a show. I had a problem watching it because I felt no connection to the characters. The first episode, "The Wedding Frame," appears to be the last episode produced, and may not have aired on TV. I haven't seen an episode of the show before, so it was hard to work out the relationships between all the characters. Including some season 1 episodes was nice, but it still didn't help me understand the show, or the characters. I would have preferred the first few episodes, or at least the very first one, "Ginger the Juvey," since it introduced the characters. I have another As Told By Ginger disc to watch, so hopefully I'll get a better handle on what the show is. I'll admit that the opening summary of this review is the worst one I've ever written, but I didn't have a much material to work with. (read entire review)
