Summary of "Complete Series 8 & 9 - It's all done (*sniff*)": I had grown quite attached to this series, so I'm a bit bummed that it's over with. I loved watching Lionel, Alistair and the women through the 9 seasons; hopefully they'll air a special sometime down the road (the British are fond of specials). I liked the final season of the show; it tied everything up nicely, and was a great end to a successful run. (read entire review)
Complete Series 7 - Laugh with the old folks (4/10/2005)
Summary of "Complete Series 7 - Laugh with the old folks": Oh man, I love Lionel. The first episode, where he's going deaf, has some priceless moments. He can be such a grumpy old guy, but you can't help but love him. Jean is equally hilarious with her prying and snooping in other people's business. I'm curious about the next set of As Time Goes By. There's only 10 episodes left in the 2 seasons, so I'm hoping we'll see a combined release like seasons 1 & 2, which totalled 13 episodes. (read entire review)
Summary of "Complete Series 6 - Season 6": I know this show is aimed at people older than I am, but I really enjoy it. Lionel Hardcastle is a very sarcastic man, and Jean seems to say things that place them in awkward situations. It's a funny show about two old people in love. (read entire review)
Complete Series 4 - Who's getting married? (2/23/2003)
Summary of "Complete Series 4 - Who's getting married?": It's a little strange that BBC started releasing the show with season 4. If I had watched these in order of their release I would be completely lost. Season 4 contains no introduction to the characters, or the situations they're in. I was lucky to watch the series in order. (read entire review)

Complete Series 1&2 - Funny old people (10/28/2002)
Summary of "Complete Series 1&2 - Funny old people": I'm rather hooked on this show now. It's funny to watch older people go through the dating experience. Geoffrey Palmer is excellent as a bitter, sarcastic man. I enjoy how the story is continued from episode to episode, season to season; it's unlike North American sit-coms in that aspect. My favorite episodes were the final two of the second season. Jean and Lionel visit Jean's Sister-in-law and Lionel's book signing finish off this set. I'm looking forward to the third season, and the fourth which was previously released. (read entire review)
Summary of "Complete Series 3 - Still funny...": This show cracks me up. I think Lionel has mellowed out a bit, but he still has his sarcastic humor. The Brits sure know how to do comedy and I plan on picking up the fourth season which was released back in April of 2002. (read entire review)
