Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Stop off for a visit on this Street":
How interesting could a show be about people that live on the same street? Very interesting. I was sucked into this show by the end of the first episode, and my appreciation grew stronger once the second episode ended. The concept for the series is unique, and I'll do my best to explain it to you. Each episode focuses on one household on the street; they're the "stars" of the episode, with other characters having cameos. The next episode focuses on someone else, and the "star" of episode 1 now has a minor role. Sometimes the characters are gone, and don't show up in any of the other episodes, and other times the person has a single line. The tone of the episodes change as well; some are funny, some are touching, and others are just sad. Every episode brought new characters and new situations, and I was completely sucked in.

This is a wonderful series, and one I'd definitely recommend you watch. I think the price of the set is a tad high, especially considering it's a bare-bones release, so consider renting it from NetFlix, or a local store (if you can find it). I'm extremely happy this has been picked up for a second season, and I can't wait to watch it on DVD. (read entire review)
