Summary of "Season 4 - Seven, yum":
The show seems to be picking up this season. Seven of Nine was a welcome addition to the series, and I wasn't too torn up with the departure of Kes. I remember Jerri Ryan from Dark Skies, and though she's been known as Seven, I'll always remember her from that series. There were a couple of good runs of episodes this season, and I enjoyed season 4 more than some of the previous ones. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 3 - Voyage on...":
I'm not sure when I stopped watching Voyager, but I remembered many of the episodes in this set. I believe I saw some episodes with 7 of 9, so I assume it was sometime after season 4. I love that Paramount is putting these out so quickly, and it's hard to believe they will have released 24 Star Trek season sets on DVD in just a few years. I was very happy to see the pace of the series pick up, especially after the Borg were introduced to the show. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 2 - Season 2":
The second season of the show was better than the first, but still a far cry from the beauty of The Next Generation or Deep Space 9. I'm not saying it's a bad show, it's just not as good as the others. The lack of artwork on the discs is an obvious pain now, but I stil find the packaging to be kinda cool, maybe just because it's different from the norm. I wish Paramount would discover that viewers are interested in a "play all" feature for their sets; they seem like the only major studio that hasn't figured it out yet. While it's not unique, I thought the trivia version of "The 37's" was a cool feature, and hopefully we'll see it on future seasons. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 1 - 'Where the heck are we?!'":
When Voyager first aired I gave up watching Deep Space 9. I didn't regret it at the time, but years later I have to ask myself, "Why did you do that?!" Voyager isn't a bad show, it's just not really good like The Next Generation or Deep Space 9 is. I remembered many of the episodes while I was watching them, but they seem slightly "off" now. Maybe the story isn't quite as tight as the other series', or maybe it's the unfamiliar alien races. We know the Romulans, the Cardassians and the Ferengi, but now we're introduced to a whole new quadrant of baddies that don't carry a history in the Trek universe. When I told a friend of mine that I was watching Voyager he remarked that "you'll get sick of hearing the word anomaly pretty quickly." He had a very good point.

I should also bring up the price of the set; it's the same as every other Trek set, even though it has fewer episodes. It seems as though a few companies are setting a price per set despite how many episodes the set contains. We've seen that with HBO (Sex & The City), and Universal's recent announcements of Quantum Leap (9 episodes) and Northern Exposure (8 episodes) are priced the same as Law & Order: Season 2 (22 episodes). While I see where the companies are coming from, the price of the set should reflect the content. With that said, Paramount has included more extras in Season 1 than I'd expect in some of the subsequent seasons so it appears they're doing something to offset the high price of the set.
