Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Super Cop!": This was a very cool show. I was worried it would be a tad cheesy - "Hey, I'm a super cop!" - but I didn't find that to be the case. I liked the team of Ellison and Sandburg, though Sandburg could be a tad annoying at times. I'm eager to check out the second season, which was the first full season for the series. I hope CBS can put together a nicer set for the second season. I imagine most of the work on this set was done by Paramount before CBS took over the catalog, but I can't say for certain. It feels like a Paramount release; bland menus, lack of a "play all" and no extras (except for promotional trailers). Richard Burgi is enjoying a boost to his career after joining Desperate Housewives, but he may be interested in doing a commentary, or appearing in a featurette. I know the Pet Fly folks would love to talk about the show; someone should approach them. (read entire review)
