Summary of "The Complete 5th Season - Hello Mr. Janitor": Scrubs remains one of my favorite comedy shows, and I look forward to sitting down and binge-watching the show when it hits DVD. The cast is awesome, and the characters they play are wacky, yet they can be serious when the situation calls for it. Neil Flynn as the janitor is probably my favorite of the group. He pops up when I least expect it, and he always makes me laugh.
Disney continues to release solid sets for Scrubs, and I can't wait for the season 6 set to come out. (read entire review)

Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Hilarious show - great set": Disney has really impressed me with their releases this year. They don't release a lot of TV-on-DVD, but they do a great job with the stuff they put out. They put a really solid effort into Scrubs; nice commentary tracks, good featurettes, gag reels...yeah, this is a really nice set.
The solid DVD release backs up a stellar show. I can never decide which is my favorite character; the Janitor with his funny lines and crazy looks; Dr. Cox, and his funny rants; J.D., who is just silly without trying; or maybe Todd and his sexual references. Nope, I can't decide.
Remember all the guest stars from the first season? Well, they had a whole bunch more for season 2; just look at these names: Michael McDonald (Mad TV), Heather Locklear (Melrose Place), David Copperfield, John Ritter (Three's Company), Dick Van Dyke (The Dick Van Dyke Show), Rick Schroder (Silver Spoons), Jay Mohr (Action), Amy Smart (Felicity) and Ryan Reynolds (Blade: Trinity). Sometimes I like to connect actors to different shows/movies that they were both in, like connecting Donald Faison and Amy Smart to Felicity (along with Scott Foley who was in season 1), or Amy Smart and Ryan Reynolds to Just Friends.
Buy this set and you'll be entertained for hours; it's a great show, and a really nice DVD set. (read entire review)

Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Slice him open!": What a fun show! I had just gotten through the third season of ER before watching Scrubs, and it was funny to see two completely different takes on a medical show. As I was watching the episodes, I tried to pick a favorite character. It was always between the janitor, and Dr. Cox. The janitor just comes up with the oddest lines, and he's such an odd fellow. Dr. Cox, while delivering some odd lines himself, is such a complicated fellow. On the surface he appears to dislike the residents, but he also cares deeply for them. He likes to torture J.D., but he also enjoys watching him succeed. I can't wait to see how these two characters develop over the other episodes that have been produced.
There were some fabulous guest stars in the first season of Scrubs. Keep your eyes open for Christa Miller (who becomes a recurring character), Sean Hayes, Elizabeth Bogush, Jimmie Walker, Carrot Top, Markie Post, John Ritter, Scott Foley, Ed Begley Jr. and Brendan Fraser. Not bad.
I highly recommend this set, not just because it's a great show, but because Disney has delivered a solid package. Nice featurettes, interviews, commentary tracks, and deleted/alternate scenes make this one worth owning. (read entire review)
