Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Skins - try some moisturizing cream": I forgot how much I enjoy this show! The second season is more "sci-fi" than season one, and I like the change. The first season was all Liz & Max in love, while the second season introduces a threat to the group, and there's the realization that the aliens have a purpose being on Earth. It felt good to see their cozy little group ripped apart, though I was sad to see it at the time. I'm interested in the third season, since I stopped watching the show at the end of the second season. An insert with the second season box says we can expect season 3 in the summer of 2005. Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - It's finally here!": It was nice to revisit Roswell on DVD. I found the Roswell High featurette revealing; I had no idea the show was based on a series of books (okay...I obviously don't watch the end credits). Some might dismiss Roswell as another teen-drama like Dawson's Creek, but I think it's a show that should appeal to fans of all ages. It was nice to see Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation) in a few guest appearances (he also served as an executive producer on the series). Buffy/Angel fans will also get a kick out of seeing Julie Benz as Kathleen Topolski.
Fans of the series will want to pick this set up, and keep your eyes open for the second season coming in the summer. (read entire review)
