Summary of "Season 3 - It's Done!":
And that's that! In just a few months, Alliance has managed to release all 66 episodes of Relic Hunter on DVD. Sure, there aren't any extras, and the packaging is absolutely horrible, but the DVDs are priced right (you can get them for $20/season). Alliance has obviously made it a priority to get their shows out quickly; this isn't the only show that has gotten a season every month. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 2 - Syd is cool":
It's more of the same with this set, both good and bad. The show is still a blast to watch, I just wish the packaging was better. The video quality is a bit better than season 1, but the grain still jumps out in many scenes. The lack of bonus material doesn't annoy me, especially at the price (which, in my opinion, is insanely cheap).

Lucky me - season 3 is already sitting here waiting to be watched. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 1 - Alliance misses the mark":
While it's nice to finally have the show on DVD, I wish it were a better set. The video quality isn't as good as it should be, and the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It's a fold-out style package, that has two panels holding the discs. That means there are THREE overlapping discs, which a lot of consumers hate. I haven't seen this type of package before; the discs sit on each other, and aren't held in by the hub. Instead there are little tabs on the top-sides of the discs, and bendable clips on the bottom. It's hard to describe, but it's something I'm not a fan of, and I can't imagine too many consumers getting excited by the packaging either. At least the price is extremely good, but unfortunately the quality reflects it.

Season 2 is already scheduled for May 18, with season 3 out on June 8. It's amazing to think we've waited years and years for the series to be released, and now all 3 seasons will be out in 3 months. (read entire review)
