Summary of "Season 2 - Punky Power Returns!": Well, Henry finally adopts Punky in a great 5 part arc, "Changes." I found "Accidents Happen" to be a moving episode. The Challenger explosion is my generations JFK; an event that we'll never forget. I was in the music room watching the takeoff when the shuttle exploded; we were all shocked and sad. The episode brought back the memories of that sad day. I'm sure the episode helped kids understand what happened, and how to deal with it; I wish I had seen it years ago.
Punky is a great show for kids to watch, and these DVDs make a great addition to any collection. It was nice to see an interview with George Gaynes, and hopefully we'll see season 3 include an interview with Soleil Moon Frye. (read entire review)
Summary of "Season 1 - Punky Power!": I had a lot of fun watching the show, and I started to remember bits and pieces of it. It looks a bit dated now, but the stories are still great. Punky Brewster is a show that the entire family can love, especially the little ones. It's a shame they couldn't get interviews with Soleil Moon Frye (Punky) or George Gaynes (Henry), but there are a few more seasons left in the show to include them.
