Summary of "Complete Series - Jim Profit is a very bad man": There are certain shows that TV critics love to talk about, and this is one of them (another is EZ Streets, which I don't expect to see on DVD). I figure it's because it was so unique at the time; a refreshing break from the generic garbage they have to sit through every year. An evil character on TV could work now, but it was too much for the audience to handle back then.
Anchor Bay did a decent job on the set, though there's some room for improvement. These episodes really needed some chapters, especially when the pilot is an hour and a half long! A "play all" option would also make my job a lot easier. That being said, the transfer for the episodes is very good, especially considering most of the other Cannell stuff is garbage (Greatest American Hero is pretty good).
It'll take smaller companies to get shows like this out; I'm impressed Anchor Bay went after it, and Fox was willing to license it. It's a shame most of the other big studios don't license gems like this to companies like Anchor Bay. There will be a number of shows that we never see simply because they won't move many units, and the companies don't license anything out.
The set has 2 Easter Eggs, but they aren't on the discs. That's all I'll say. (read entire review)
