Summary of "Season 1 - In Plain Sight? Not in Canada": I enjoyed the show, though it didn't grab my attention like I hoped it would. It's entertaining, with a nice mix of drama and humor, but I wasn't left with a desire to burn through all the other episodes, instead choosing to view them over a few weeks. Don't get me wrong, I liked the show, I just wasn't captivated by it.
I was a bit bummed that Universal didn't produce bonus material for the set. The deleted scenes are good, but as soon as I saw Paul Stupin was involved, I wished there were commentary tracks. Stupin served as an Executive Producer on Dawson's Creek, and his commentary tracks on the set were entertaining and informative. Even just one track would have appeased me, but my guess is that the budget just wasn't there for the set.
I'll check out the second season of the show whenever it's released on DVD, and I'm thankful that I was able to watch a show that I couldn't catch on TV here. (read entire review)
