Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - I'd like to visit October Road": This set is skimpy on the extras, especially for Disney. I'm used to multiple commentary tracks, some behind-the-scenes material, and a whole lot more, but this set just has some very short sections. If I had to guess, and that's all this is, I would assume they didn't have a big budget for the set, and couldn't afford to do a ton of bonus material.
I'm not sure what it is about October Road that has me hooked, but I am. Hook, line and sinker. I think it's a combination of the interesting characters, and the story that unraveled in the 6 episodes. I can't wait to see an entire season of the show, though with the writer's strike continuing to rage on, who knows how long season 2 will be. However long it is, I can't wait for it to arrive on DVD.
