Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - So, this is marriage?": While the DVD set isn't loaded with extras, I think this is a good release from HBO. I enjoyed the commentary tracks for the two episodes; it's nice to see two people on a track since HBO usually has a single person on an episode, and that can get rather boring. The addition of the chapters and the "play all" on the set made me happy, and I liked that they included the "play all" option in the special features area as well. I hope we see the studio continue with these features on future sets.
I heard Mike Binder say something really interesting in the commentary track on the pilot; he wrote the third season of the show. As I said before, this was a 2 season series, so it sounds as though Binder has a season of unshot scripts. I hope HBO was paying attention and would be interested in including those on the second season DVD set; I'm sure fans would love to read them. (read entire review)
