Summary of "Season 1 - Very Dark, Very Good": It's funny to think that Millennium and Profiler premiered within weeks of each other, and both focused on the same subject: serial killers. They even used visions to show the viewer what took place during the murder. The difference was Profiler lasted longer; 4 seasons instead of 3. If I had to pick one of the two, and I don't have to, but I will anyway, I would say that Millennium is more enjoyable for me. I'll admit to loving everything that James Wong and Glenn Morgan have worked on; I don't know what it is, but those two rock. They were involved in the first season of the series, and then took the helm for the second. Also, be on the lookout for guest stars James Morrison (Space: Above and Beyond), John Hawkes (Deadwood) and CCH Pounder (The Shield).
While the material may be a bit gruesome for you, I'd recommend picking up this set. (read entire review)
