Summary of "Complete Series - Look out, here come the geeks!": I have to give Fox Home Video a lot of credit for the work they put into these "FFNF" shows (that's Fox Friday Night Failure). They understand that the shows carry active fans, and they aren't afraid to spend money on developing quality extras. They also deliver consistent product at a reasonable price, and I think consumers are eager to reward their work by purchasing the sets.
I couldn't help but grimace while watching the pilot which dealt with a conspiracy by government officials to fly a plane into the World Trade Center in order to spark military spending. No one expected the wild concept would come true later that year, and watching the episode again brings back painful memories of September 11.
I enjoyed this show, though I felt the trio were probably better suited for recurring roles on The X-Files, and obviously the viewing public agreed, or the show wouldn't have been canned. Was it a case of a poor timeslot (Friday nights have killed so many Fox shows), or a lack of interest? I guess we'll never know, but I'm happy with the way the show was wrapped up. These 14 episodes tell a wonderful story, and I'm thankful I can add it to my collection. (read entire review)
