Summary of "The Kumars at No. 42 - Brilliant show!": This show is freakin' hilarious! The guests have no idea what to expect. The father is asking them about money, or sharing a story with no point, while the mother is asking about relationships and the grandmother....who knows what she'll ask; Poor Sanjeev. I'm not familiar with many of the guests, but it really doesn't matter, the show would still be funny if they were interviewing the butcher from down the street.
I have one problem with this set; it's not the first season of the show. I don't know why they decided to include 3 episodes from season 1, and 3 from season 2, but I don't like it. The first season is only 7 episodes, and it would have made more sense to include them on the set and call it "Season 1" instead of a handful (and a bit) from two seasons. I would love to see the season 1 episode with Graham Norton, but I don't know if they'll ever release it. If they choose to do a "season 1" set then they'll be forcing people to purchase something when they already have close to half the episodes on this release.
The "best of" release bothers me, but the show is still hilarious, and this is a very nice single-disc DVD release. I enjoyed this more than Knowing Me, Knowing You, though that one is pretty funny as well. (read entire review)
