Summary of "The Complete Series - I wish I could eat at Nolita": I have a friend that watched this show when it first aired, so I knew a little bit about it (at least I knew it wasn't a cooking reality show). I've enjoyed shows featuring a lot of the main actors; Bradley Cooper was great in Alias, Nicholas Brendon was unforgettable as Xander in Buffy, I enjoyed Bonnie Somerville for the short time she was on NYPD Blue, and I recognized John Cho from a few of his movies. The cast really came together to deliver a great show, yet it was canceled after 4 episodes.
Like I said before, I don't think the show had a title that would capture the viewers, much like Stacked doesn't make you think about a funny sitcom set in a bookstore (though you'll get it once you know what the show is about). It's little things like a crappy name, and a crappy timeslot, that kills a show. I'm thankful that Fox treats these "failed" shows well when it comes to DVD, choosing to include extras and featurettes that are done after the show is off the air.
It's too bad this show was canned, but I really enjoyed watching it on DVD. (read entire review)
