Summary of "The Complete Series - No cliffhanger here": The first question that comes to mind when you're buying a cancelled series is likely to be, "Do they wrap up the story?" Usually the answer is "no," but in the case of Kidnapped it's "yes, the story is wrapped up." By the end of the 13th episode most of the storyline is wrapped up, with just a few unanswered questions left hanging. Think of this as mini-series instead of a cancelled show.
I understand why the set isn't loaded with bonus material, but I really wish there was more on here. There's nothing addressing the cancellation of the series, and I was hoping for some insight into how the show would have progressed for the rest of the season (I have an idea), and what happened immediately after they received word that the show was over. Some commentary tracks would have been nice, maybe on the pilot and the finale, but we don't have those either. The featurette is okay, but it's obviously shot early on in the series, and no one knows that the show is about to be axed.
If you're a fan of shows that have a continuing storyline to them (like 24), then you'll probably enjoy this, especially knowing that the series comes to an end in 13 episodes. (read entire review)
