Summary of "Complete Series - I love this show!": Damn, do I ever miss this show! This is one of the funniest cop shows I've ever seen, and I really wish it had lasted longer than 19 episodes. I also wonder how the show would have done on cable, where Leary would have been free to use the colorful language he's known for. I love to hear his fast-talking rants in the show; it's freakin' great.
The show featured some great guest stars; Rory Culkin (you know his siblings), Elizabeth Hurley, Donald Trump, James McCaffrey (Viper, Rescue Me), Mary Beth Peil (Dawson's Creek), Zeljko Ivanek (Oz), Gina Gershon (Snoops), Catherine McCord (Loveline), Scott Wolf (Party of Five) and Janet Hubert-Whitten (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).
I think Shout! Factory did a nice job with this set. The commentary tracks were a letdown, but everything else was great, audio problems aside. I didn't think this show would ever get a commercial release, so this is a treat. Simply put, this is one of the funniest shows we'll ever see released on DVD. Buy it. (read entire review)
