Summary of "Jeopardy: An Inside Look - And the question is...": Ken Jennings, wow...what can be said about Ken Jennings? He created a huge buzz about Jeopardy!, and probably brought the show viewers that had long-left the format. I know I tuned in to see a few episodes with him, and that was back when he had won 30 or 40 games in a row. It's a bit sad to see him lose in episode 75, and with such an easy question! Ken, Ken, Ken...
If you find yourself in LA with nothing to do then I'd suggest heading to the Sony lot and taking a tour. I went on one last October and we found ourselves in the Jeopardy! stage (after visting many other sets). It's neat to sit in the audience and look at the setup they have for the show. We were there when the set was empty, but it's still impressive to see.
Sony has created a template for all game shows to follow; select some good episodes, include some bonus material, and then release it on DVD. The only "fluff" piece on the set is the "multi-cam episode," and that's only because it's material we've already seen. All the other featurettes are top-notch, and give us an excellent look behind the scenes of the popular game show. If you've ever wondered how much work goes into the show then you really must pick this up. (read entire review)
