Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Season Two": Pretty much a Second Season clone of the first DVD set, The Jeffersons - The Complete Second Season, short of adding extras, is all you can ask for in a DVD set of a 70s show - even the front end makes me warm and fuzzy, with it's 70s stylin'. Speaking of stylin', trainspotters should keep an eye out for Rene Auberjonois and Lou Gossett, Jr. as guest stars, butterfly collars and all.
Better still, the set succeeds where other Columbia-Tristar sets have failed, such as the inclusion of unlisted chapters - which allow you to jump past the opening theme. Don't get me wrong, I love it to death, but when you're pulling a marathon, it starts to grate.
As loud and outspoken as the decade that spawned it, this is a good set to own for fans of classic TV. (read entire review)

Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Movin' On Up": I cannot tell you how much I looked forward to viewing this set when I heard it was coming out. I have been a big fan of the show, enjoying it since it debuted when I was a pre-teen (wow, I just dated myself). It, along with other shows at the time, taught me a few things about life. In particular, this show demonstrated to my impressionable mind that there are no fundamental differences between people of different skin color, and that - like the Willis' - we can mix it up and get along just fine. There is a lot to recommend about this show, and the quality of the DVD set will not let you down. I can highly recommend that you pick it up. Sure, I had a few complaints...but then I'm a picky guy. This is a great set, though. Worthy of a great American television series like The Jeffersons. (read entire review)
