Summary of "Volume 1 - Nice wings!": This was a pretty funny show, and it's interesting to see how they integrate all the characters into the show. I loved "The Dabba Don" episode where Fred is a mob boss. The show pays tribute to some of the old HB characters, but also manages to mock a number of things. "The Dabba Don" was based on The Sopranos - they even had a cool opening featuring Fred driving around similar to Tony driving in the opening of The Sopranos.
I'm not sure what to make of the bonus material. The commentary tracks were very good, but the rest of the material is fluff that hardly runs more than a minute in most cases. I think I could have done without most of it, but then I'd be bitching about how there's hardly anything on the set. Man, I'm hard to please! I'm sure fans of the show will get a kick out of the material though.
Fans of HB cartoons have to check this show out, and this DVD set is the best way to do it. As the insert in the set says, "Why watch it for free when you could pay for it?" (read entire review)
