Summary of "The Complete 3rd Season - So long, little buddy": Well, here's another series that comes to a close. I had a blast watching the three seasons of the show, but I'm a bit sad it's over with now. I remembered seeing most of these episodes as a kid, so it was nice to catch up with old friends by watching them again on DVD. I think Warner Bros did a really nice job with the sets; they look fabulous. I enjoyed watching the "Pop Culture" featurette, but I had no idea who most of those actors were (I only knew Wendi McLendon-Covey from Reno 911!).

Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Lil' Buddy": While watching this set I received a few calls from friends and I mentioned that I was in the middle of a Gilligan's Island episode. I was shocked to discover some people haven't seen a single episode of the show! What's the deal with that?! I can't believe there are people that made it to their 20s and 30s without seeing a single episode of this show. I guess that's why these DVDs are so great; now anyone can complete their lives by watching episodes of Gilligan's Island.

Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Skipper.....SKIPPPPPPPER!!": I remember watching Gilligan's Island reruns every day at 4:30 on KXLY when I was a kid. Watching these episodes bring back fond memories of sitting upstairs huddled around the TV laughing as Gilligan messed up yet again. Having the first season of this show is a treat, and this is one of the first DVD releases to bring back memories of my childhood. The comentary by Sherwood Schwartz was interesting to listen to, and the "tropical tidbits" were very cool. Hopefully they can get some interviews with the surviving cast members for a season 2 set.
