Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - They aren't the Gilmore Girls, that's for sure": My girlfriend and I enjoyed sitting down and watching this show one afternoon. Episodes run about 20 mins once you skip over the "previously on" and opening credits, so the 10 episodes on this set flew by. It's the type of show that you'll discuss as you watch it; "I can't believe she said/did that..." "That's a nice/ugly dress..." stuff like that. If you watch this alone then don't discuss it with yourself; that's just creepy.
I mentioned some of the sloppy authoring of the "play all" and chapter breaks, but the menus are horrible. If you click in to the "episodes" or "bonus features" menus there's no way to get back. That's right, there's no "back" option! Man oh man, was this someone's first authoring job? They actually force you to use the "DVD Menu" button on your remote, probably one of the least-used buttons, and something that won't be obvious to many people.
Unfortunately E! has almost finished the second season of the show, so if you haven't been following along you may as well wait for the second season to be released on DVD. (read entire review)
