Summary of "Galapagos - I love HD!":
Galapagos is a wonderful look at the islands made famous by Charles Darwin. I knew Darwin spent some time on the islands, but I thought he was there for a long, long time; I was wrong. Thanks to this program I learned he was only on the islands for a short time (about a month and a half), and didn't quite grasp the significance of them until much later.

The creatures that live on the islands, and in the water, are amazing. I loved learning about new lizards, like the marine iguana that swims down to eat algae off the rocks, or the giant albatross' that does a funky mating dance. Then there's the tortoises, the seals, fish, sharks, and, of course, Darwin's finches.

If you didn't jump on the DVD release, and you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Planet Earth, this is an excellent disc to show off your new HDTV. The suggested price is $9 over the DVD set, but it's worth every penny for the HD picture. (read entire review)

If you're interested in taking a journey to the Galapagos Islands then this is a must-view for you. There aren't any bonus features, but it's worth the $19.99 suggested retail price. (read entire review)
