Summary of "The Complete 9th Season - The One Where It's Almost Over": Phew, it's almost over! Friends fans really like their DVDs, and they want to complete their collection with season 10. I think this show has generated the most email for me; everyone wants to know when the next season will be released on DVD, and they want to know NOW! I can't wait to hear what Warner Bros has cooking for season 10; I bet it'll be great. They'd better not pull an HBO and announce that they're redoing all 10 sets in a big custom package with bonus features we haven't seen before. Nawww...that'd never happen.

Summary of "The Complete 8th Season - I know who the father is!": I think Friends generates more emails for the site than any other show. We received so many emails asking when Friends: Season 8 was coming we were calling Warner asking them to announce something. Even after the announcement we were still getting emails asking when it would be released, and now that season 8 is here we're getting emails asking about 9 and 10. I think Friends fans really want to finish their sets off. Hopefully we'll see the sets released in 2005.
I was very impressed with the "Game Show Challenge" on this set. Usually the trivia bits are lame, but I felt as if I were actually playing a game. I can't wait to see what extras they have on the final sets; I hope they're great. (read entire review)

Summary of "The Complete 7th Season - Wedding time": I like that Warner Bros keeps releasing solid Friends sets. Let's be honest - they could probably release these in a bare-bones configuration and they'd still sell, but they don't, and we love them for it.
If you haven't heard already, Warner Bros will release the series finale just 5 days after it is shown on broadcast. They will package the first and last episodes together in a single set. We've been asked whether this means the finale won't be included on the season 10 set. Of course not, it'll be there as well. Summary of "The Complete 6th Season - Ross is annoying": It's taken 3 season sets, but I'm starting to like this show. I don't think I've watched a sitcom in years and years, so it means a lot for me to say I enjoy something. Warner Bros has done such a wonderful job with the sets that it's hard not to start to like the show. The gag reel is extremely entertaining and fun. Summary of "The Complete 5th Season - The One Where...": This is another solid Friends DVD release. The packaging still contains a synopsis of the episode, original air date, and director. If you're not sure which episode you want to watch, they've even provided a short (0:25-0:45) snippet for you to watch. The highlight of the set is the wonderful documentary created for the Discovery Channel. It's nice to see that these sets are consistently good. Summary of "The Complete 4th Season - I have Friends!": Never having seen one of the Friends sets, I didn't quite know what to expect. My friends at Warner Bros have done some very nice work with this set. The packaging contains a brief synopsis of each episode, including the air date, episode director, and mention of any guest stars. They've also provided disc art for players that support it (disc art can be viewed when the disc is stopped). The menus are attractive, and well thought out, and there's a "play all" feature. If you're not sure which episode you want to watch, they've even provided a short (0:25-0:45) snippet for you to watch. Yes, a lot of care went into making this set.
There's no doubt in my mind that Warner Bros is making a ton of money off these sets. Take one of the most popular sitcoms ever, and give it a solid DVD release and you have yourself a winner. Warner Bros, nice job. (read entire review)
