Summary of "Season 2 - I love this show!":
Wow, wow, wow! Season 2 was three times as good as the first season. This show has now become my second-favorite drama (behind MI-5). I've heard the show described as a UK Desperate Housewives, but I don't know why. That show has some light moments, while this show has a very serious tone to it. My only complaint is that the seasons are so short, but maybe that's why they're so good.

I'm torn on these releases from Capital Entertainment. I think their audio and video is good quality, but this set is a cookie-cutter version of season 1, with the exception of the added previews. The bonus features are the same as the first season, but with some different photos. I'd also prefer to have the photos on disc 2, especially when they contain photos from the entire season. I made the mistake of looking at them on disc 1, and it spoiled some of the events in the second half of the season. There are sets that contain photo galleries on each disc (Stargate SG-1), but the photos pertain to the episodes found on that disc.

I hope we'll see seasons 3 and 4 released sometime next year; I'm crossing my fingers. (read entire review)

Summary of "Season 1 - Nice show!":
I went through the first disc in two sittings; it took me a bit to get into the show. However, the second disc flew by, and was finished in one sitting, with a quick break to prepare food between the sixth and seventh episodes. When the final episode finished I was ticked; I wanted more! The British know how to do television right; give them a handful of episodes, and leave them wanting more.

I'm pleased with Capital's first attempt at a TV-DVD set. I'd like to see more extras in the future, but the presentation of the show is nice, which is more than I can say for some other companies' first releases. I'm interested in seeing what else they have planned; the first season of Bag Girls is out, and they've schedule Count Duckula for later this year as well.

I've heard that the second season will be out later this year. I say, "Bring it on!" (read entire review)
