Summary of "Complete Series - It's Clobberin' Time!":
While this show isn't as good as one of the Bruce Timm DC shows, it's still pretty decent. The first few episodes were extremely cheesy, and I wondered how long I could tolerate the show for, but it got better in the last half of the season, and much better during the second season. I was surprised by the change in the second season, and everything was for the better; better animation, better style, better character design, and a much better opening!

I can't say I really got into the Fantastic Four comic books when I was a kid, but that was probably because I didn't have any friends that were into them either. I know I have a mini-comic that was given away one year at Halloween, and a super-sized issue, but those are the only two in my collection. After watching this series I'm tempted to order this from Amazon.com. It contains issues 1-30 and the Annual #1 - the first three years of the comic. Seriously, how cool is that?!

Out of all the summer movies, The Fantastic Four is the only one I'm interested in, and it's mainly because I want to see Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm/The Thing. I think he's perfect for the role, especially after watching him as Vic Mackey in The Shield. Getting me to go to a theater these days is amazing (I've seen 1 movie this year, and 5 in the past 3 years).

If you're a fan of The Fantastic Four then you're going to pick this set up, but it's a decent watch for the casual fan as well. (read entire review)
