Summary of "Television Favorites - Season sets please": I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for a season release of The Drew Carey Show. I was never a big fan of the series, but I'd catch an episode here and there. I know Warner Bros is testing the market with these "TV Favorites" releases, but it's hard for fans to fork over money for something they don't want just so they have the possibility of seeing a season set later on. It's also a bit hard for the casual fan, like myself, to follow what's going on in these episodes. Sure, I understand the story in each one, but there are a few jokes I didn't "get" because they built on fans knowledge of the characters, or their current situations.
If everyone that's a fan of the show bought one of these DVDs then we'd likely see season sets released. For now I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best. (read entire review)
