Summary of "Season 1 - Great Canadian show!":
I like this show, so I was a bit bummed that it was only 15 episodes and not the regular 22 for a season. It seemed to go by so quickly, and I want to know what happens next! There's at least one character in the series that the viewer can relate to (I won't tell you which one reminds me of how I was in Jr. high).

FUNimation/Alliance Atlantis have done a pretty good job with the set, though there is some room for improvement. Boasting "Over 100 special features" is a bit of a sly marketing job. Sure, if you count every deleted scene and outtake then you're easily over 100 special features, but honestly, who does that? Will we start to see "Over 500 special features" on sets that contain storyboards and still images? I hope not. I also need to bring up the lack of a "play all" feature, both for the episodes, but also for the deleted scenes and bloopers. When you have multiple pieces of video that are fairly short then a "play all" feature is a necessity. While I'm complaining, I should also mention that I dislike sets that don't allow you to see the time remaining for the episodes or special features. I'm not sure how this works, and how the video is encoded (or not) with the time, but there are very few sets that don't contain this feature. Fox does the same thing for most of their special features, but that's the only example that comes to mind. It's bothersome, especialy when you're a DVD reviewer and want to write down the times of the special features. I'll send these comments to FUNimation and see if something can be done for season 2.

This is a pretty good set, and I think it'll sell very well. I can't wait for season 2! (read entire review)
