Summary of "Season 2 - Great Canadian Show!": I can't think of a Canadian sitcom that's better than Corner Gas. The show is hilarious, and it keeps getting better. The writers have the gift of turning the absurd into comedy, and I love it. I had the pleasure of meeting Brent Butt and Eric Peterson at a DVD signing they did in Edmonton, and they're both really nice people (yes, Eric is nice in person). This is a pretty good set from VSC. It would have been nice if there were chapters after the opening credits (and at the end of the episode so you could skip to the next one using the play all). I don't know if they're planning on issuing a fix for the audio problem on disc 3, but we'll keep you posted if we hear anything.
This was a lot of fun to watch, and I'd recommend it for all Canadians, and even for our friends South of the border. (read entire review)
Summary of "Season 1 - Great Canadian show!": If you're a Canadian then you really need to pick this set up. If you're an American then you should pick this up, see whether you get the Canadian jokes and then email me afterwards. Not all the jokes are Canadian only, but many of them are cultural jokes that may go over your head.
VSC did a bang-up job on this release, but they still have a few things they can work on for season 2; the chapter placement and the "play all" feature. (read entire review)
