Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - I love gun fights!": I don't consider myself a fan of westerns, but I sure enjoyed Cheyenne. The premise is simple, yet it provides hundreds of story possibilities. People often talk about the violence on television these days, but wow, Cheyenne was a pretty violent show! He was constantly shooting people, sometimes without a good reason. I noticed something funny in one of the episodes; there was a wanted posted for Cheyenne which listed his as 6'3", but Clint Walker is 6'6" - they knocked 3 inches off his height!
I thought this was a cool show, but I wish Warner Bros had included all, or at least some, of the "Behind the Camera" segments. There was more than enough room on the discs to do that, and it's unlikely we'll see them released in their own set, though some will turn up as bonus material on the movies releases. I hope to see Cheyenne season 2 riding onto DVD in the near future. (read entire review)
