Summary of "Season 1 - Fox no more.": It took my girlfriend and I a day and a half to get through the set in two sittings; it's very addictive. It also helps that there isn't a bad episode in the bunch, and they're under 30 mins each. It's printed on the package, but I want to mention that this is NOT a show for kids. There's tons of sex and nudity in almost every episode, and lots of colorful language. It's a great show for adults, but not for kids.
Once again I'm disappointed by the lack of bonus material on a Showtime release. The single commentary track is good, but that's the only worthwhile extra on the set. The inclusion of downloadable bonus material without a mention of computer requirements is sad; at least make some mention of the restrictive nature of the material on the package.
Californication is a great show, I just wish the DVD set lived up to it. (read entire review)
