Summary of "Season 1 - Burn Me!": I've been sick the past few days, and that gave me the opportunity to burn through the set. I expected the show to be very serious, and was a bit surprised with the comedic moments. Obviously I hadn't thought about the show, and the fact that Bruce Campbell was in it; when has Bruce Campbell NOT been funny? I also enjoyed the voice-overs that Michael provides when he's in "spy mode." The other night, during a fever-induced dream, I heard Michael narrating things I was doing in the dream. Very weird!
I really liked the "Get Burned" bonus feature which provides commentary on select scenes in every episode. It's a good way to get involvement from the cast members on every episode; usually we get commentary on just a few episodes. It also cuts out the usual garbage "filler" that's often heard, and just focuses on the important stuff. Unfortunately the rest of the extras are just fluff pieces (montages, seriously?).
I had a lot of fun watching this, and I'd recommend a blind-buy if you like spy shows/movies, or enjoy Bruce Campbell's work. (read entire review)
