Summary of "The Complete 3rd Season - Good Robot": The season 3 episodes were even better than season 2, and I enjoyed those ones more than season 1. I just checked an episode guide and I see that this is the last season the show was known as Beast Wars. The name changed to Beast Machines for season 4, and Beast Machines: Battle for the Spark for season 5. I guess I can look forward to another 2 sets for Beast action.
Last set I commented that I thought Rhino was running out of material for the sets, and it looks as though I were right. The Animatic is interesting, but not something I'm into, and the deleted scene is very short. What's in store for season four? I have no idea. (read entire review)
Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Fallen Hero": The second season of the show seems to have taken a more mature tone, and I like it! The stories are a lot more interesting, and more is at stake - evidenced with the death of a Maximal in an episode.
I thought the extras for this release were extremely weak. If you aren't interested in the various aspects of animation then there isn't much of interest for you here. I would have liked some more interviews Larry and Bob, or something else of substance. It'll be interesting to see what Rhino has lined up for the next release. (read entire review)
