Summary of "Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries - Not a remake, "reimagined"": I'm eager to check out the first season of the series when it begins airing in January (it premiered in the UK already), though I'll probably end up catching it on DVD whenever it's released. I grew to accept the differences between the series' and I enjoyed the "re-imagining" version. Universal has put together a solid release for the mini-series, and it's worth owning if you intend to watch the series, or if you want a decent sci-fi show. I'm interested in seeing how the series plays out. I'm also fascinated that Battlestar Galactica, which lasted only a season on the air (come on Galactica 1980 doesn't count), still has such a loyal following. Hopefully this incarnation can last longer. (read entire review)
