Summary of "The Legend Of The Rangers - Cheesy VR thing": Well...that wraps up the Babylon 5 releases. I think a new series could do well, especially considering there aren't any Trek shows on right now. This movie showed some promise, but it was also hindered by some pretty lame things, like that horrible VR battle simulator. I can't be the only one that started to laugh when "Sarah" started flinging her arms and legs everywhere. I can't believe that came from JMS.
This won't be a big-seller, but it's nice to have it released for the fans that must own everything relating to B5. (read entire review)
Summary of "Movie Collection - The movies!": I got a bit bummed while watching this because I realized Babylon 5 was ending with this release. The ending of A Call To Arms left a door open, and I wondered what happened after the events of the movie. Little did I know that the TV movie was a backdoor pilot for Crusade, a Babylon 5 spinoff. Then I was shocked when the series was just announced for DVD! Yippee! More Babylon 5 for me to watch. I know it didn't last very long (13 episodes), but it'll be something to check out.
If you own the 5 season sets then you have to pick this one up to complete your collection, and if you haven't purchased any of the sets then this is your chance to own the entire run of one of the best sci-fi shows that aired. Check it out, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The Complete 5th Season - And that's a wrap (4/18/2004)
Summary of "The Complete 5th Season - And that's a wrap": I really, really enjoyed this series. I had a lot of people tell me that the fifth season was bad, but I enjoyed it. Sure, it wasn't as good as the shadow war episodes, but it brought a close to the series, the stories, and some of the characters. I enjoyed the complexity of the storylines, and how the viewer was treated as an intelligent individual, instead of a mindless zombie sitting in front of the television.
Congrats is in order for Warner Bros as well; this marks the first series they've completed on DVD. They started the series with the single-disc The Gathering/ In The Beginning release, and followed it up in November, 2002 with the first season set. Sales were good, and they increased the release schedule, ending the series with this DVD set, the fifth season. That's not all though. JMS has been talking about a TV movie package which would include all 5 of the TV movies in one set. I can't wait for that to be released. (read entire review)
The Complete 4th Season - No Surrender, No Retreat (1/01/2004)
Summary of "The Complete 4th Season - No Surrender, No Retreat": Now that Deep Space 9 is finished, there's only one space station show for me to concentrate on. I enjoyed bouncing between the two shows in 2003, and I'm really looking forward to Babylon 5 wrapping up in a few months. I enjoy the amount of work that Warner Bros puts into these releases. While the video quality won't be the best due to the special effects shots, Warner Bros treats this show with respect, and fans love them for it.
Summary of "The Complete 3rd Season - Keeps getting better and better...": Every season set of Babylon 5 is better then the last. Warner Bros is doing a nice job of giving us some potatoes with our meat (extras with the episodes). The story is complex and rewards the viewer for the time they spend with the show. The Babylon 4 story this season was just superb, and I think the people at work were getting a bit sick of me talking about how great the show is, and how Straczynski is a genius. If only there weren't the poor special effects scenes...ahh...if only. (read entire review)
The Complete 2nd Season - Good show, bad video (5/18/2003)
Summary of "The Complete 2nd Season - Good show, bad video": The first season of this show caught my interest, and the second season has completely sucked me in. I enjoy shows that treats the viewer as intelligent instead of a mindless moron; probably one reason why I rarely watch sitcoms. I can't wait for the third season to be released so I can continue with this great show. (read entire review)
The Complete 1st Season - Good story... (12/07/2002)
Summary of "The Complete 1st Season - Good story...": This DVD set was one I had been eagerly anticipating. I watched the pilot movie and the first season when it first aired, but the show shifted to a different time and I didn't catch the second season. I was saddened by the video quality because I felt it shows yet again that Warner Bros. didn't believe this would sell and didn't want to spend the money on the set. People have sent me usenet posting from JMS in which he said the set sold better than was hoped and the second season release may be pushed up. I can only hope that the second season looks a lot better than this set does. (read entire review)
