Summary of "Season 2 - I want powers too!": I was slightly addicted to the second season of this show. I watched the first disc in a night, then took a few days off before finishing the season (the remaining 9 episodes) yesterday. I love burning through a season in a couple of days, especially when it's as enjoyable to watch as this is. A few of my friends complained that the second season was weak compared to the first, but I enjoyed watching this 13 episodes (plus it's been so long since I saw season 1 that I may not remember them as well).
I'm really glad some effort was put into this set; I felt the first season was shafted by Paramount. The 4400 is a cool show, and I look forward to watching the next season on DVD, whenever that'll be. (read entire review)
Summary of "Season 1 - Good show, no extras": Ahhhhh, I hated/loved how this limited series ended, and I'm so thankful it's coming back. I thin Paramount did a quality job on the audio and video, but there should have been some extras on the set. Yes, they're called "extras" for a reason, but I would have loved a glimpse into the production of the series. It alarms me that so many of their sets are being released without bonus materials of any kind.
If you like sci-fi then you should check this set out. Quick, put it on your Christmas list! (read entire review)
