Acclaimed by critics and adored by viewers, the dazzling third season of Drop Dead Diva is the most delightful and deliriously funny yet! Whether forced to play wedding planner for her former fiance's nuptials, fighting courtroom cases from breast implant surgery gone wrong to a Death Row inmate finally trying to do right, or facing down her own love life issues with suitors both past and present, Jane is living the adventure of two lifetimes, and then some.
No, I won't sit around with "the guys" talking about Drop Dead Diva, but I sure do enjoy this show, even if I don't fall into their target demographic. This 3-disc set includes all 13 episodes from the third season.

Video
Does it surprise anyone to find out DDD is presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1)? Didn't think so. The picture looks really good, except for some noise in a few scenes, and some shots that appear a bit brighter than they should be (which may be an issue with the actual show). There's a chapter after the opening of the show, and each disc has a "play all."
Audio
It's a decent Dolby Digital 5.1 track (English only) on the release. Pretty standard fare; center speaker used the most, with the front speakers for sound effects, and the rears mainly used for ambient effects. There are English and French subtitles on the set.
Trailers
There are trailers for Sony movies on the third disc.
Summary
Well, the season 2 set wasn't loaded, but at least there were some bonus features relating to the show. I'm surprised there isn't anything on this set; no gag reel, deleted scenes, interviews with the cast... not a thing. As a fan of the show I find that disappointing. I still enjoy watching the show, I just wish there were some bonus features on the set, especially since season 2 was a step above the first season.
