The adventure begins when Teddy gets a hold of an old-fashioned treasure map and talks his very reluctant pal Grubby into joining him. Grubby isn't too sure he made the right choice once he realizes that the evil magician Jack W. Tweeg and his nasty associates the Bounders will be after them every step of the way, but there's no arguing with Teddy Ruxpin once he sets his mind on a goal!
Things get even crazier when the M.A.V.O. (that's the Monsters and Villains Organization, of course!) gets on their tail, but Teddy and his friends never lose sight of what's important - and what's important is having fun!
