Pacific Coast Academy, an all boys boarding school is accepting female students for the first time since the school was established. Zoey's little brother Dustin is currently a student there. Zoey decides to be one of the first girls to become a student at PCA. This is very exciting, but also very scary. Fitting in at a new school is hard enough, but going away to boarding school and living on your own at age 13 can get crazy, especially when the girls are heavily outnumbered by the boys!
Now Zoey and the gang have a week of fun-in-the-sun planned for Spring Break. They're headed to Logan's father's mansion on the coast. Their vacation takes an unexpected turn when they realize that they're actually there to test a new reality game show called "Gender Defenders". It's boys against the girls to see who will get to be on a REAL taping of the show! But when Chase accidentally sends a text message proclaiming his true feelings for Zoey, will this Spring Break prove to be a Spring Bummer?
