The Zeta Project - Warner Confirms DVDs; A Separate Request for Fan Input is Probably Related to Extras **UPDATED**

What questions would YOU ask the people behind the show?

Two weeks ago our friends at the Home Theater Forum website held a live online chat with execs from Warner Home Video, and we reported about it the next day in the form of a "round-up" of all the major news points which came out of the chat. In case any Zeta Project fans missed the good news, here's a piece of the chat's official transcript, with the appropriate part of the question and answer about a home video release of your favorite series:
  • < CoreyScapito > Any news of The Zeta Project getting released?
  • < WHV > Look for Zeta project in 2009.
But the good news doesn't end there, because yesterday our friends at the World's Finest website posted an appeal to fans from the folks at Retrofit Films. World's Finest site-runner James Harvey writes that these are the people "who will be working on the bonus features for the upcoming The Zeta Project DVD release"...and apparently they want YOUR help in making it happen.

What do you need to do? Well, start by heading over to the World's Finest post at the above link, and read the statement by Retrofit's Amy Silliman. Amy and her team will be talking to folks behind the making of the show, and she would like to know what sorts of questions the fans have for these people. While Silliman never says "DVD" in her statement, the indication is that the answers to the best fan-provided questions could *possibly* be forthcoming as part of the bonus materials on the already-announced (via the chat) home video release.

So head on over there, read more about what they're looking for, and then compose your best questions and send them to Amy (contact information is available there). Remember to keep your note clear, brief, and above all polite. E-mails that are confusing, long-winded and/or rude probably won't get too far, y'know? And we're sure that we can all join together in thanking Silliman for reaching out to the fans in the first place; that's always a good indication of a release that will be enjoyed. We also thank James Harvey of World's Finest (and of ToonZone.net) for letting us know about this opportunity.

UPDATE (10/9): We've just received word from James Harvey again, letting us know that the folks at Retrofit have received hundreds of submissions, thanks to all of you fans who wrote in. They are grateful for the support, and they have a lot to sort through before the big interview. As a result, they have decided to stop taking further submissions at this time. Again, thanks from Retrofit, from World's Finest/ToonZone, and from us here at TVShowsOnDVD for everybody's contributions! - Dave
