Back in September we were the first to bring you
all the details of Paramount Home Entertainment's release of
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - Volume 3: The Years of Change. Yes, that's the full title of this release, which was formally announced this morning for shipment on
April 29th.
That's about when we expected this final DVD set to swing into action, given the May 22nd box office debut of Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, John Hurt and Karen Allen in
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
These 7 final installments starring Sean Patrick Flanery as a "lighter-toned" Indy (less serious than in
Volume 2: The War Years) run approximately 660 minutes, and bridge the gap between
Young Indy and the character we've seen in the films. The DVDs also contain 31 companion historical documentaries and an Interactive DVD Timeline among the bonus material. Here's the package art that we've all been waiting to see:
