Yesterday we had
great news for Yogi Bear fans, as we passed on that
The Yogi Bear Show - The Complete Series is coming to DVD on
Nov. 15th. Now Warner has made available the cover art you see above, plus a list of all 35 episodes included in this release. That list shows the
Yogi Bear cartoon, the
Snagglepuss cartoon, and the
Yakky Doodle cartoon which is part of each half-hour episode that Warner is compiling onto this release:

As you can see, that final episode was a 3-part Yogi episode, with no Yakky or Snagglepuss installments. Yogi deserved a big birthday bash: he was spun off to this show in 1960, after debuting in 1958 on
The Huckleberry Hound Show. The Yogi episodes from those first two years are also available on the same day, in the
Huckleberry DVD set, and you can see the list of those cartoon in
that separate news story. Insofar as the
Yogi - Complete release goes, expect it to run 792 minutes, plus have the extras we reported on yesterday: a Bonus collectible animation cel, Original episodes with bridges and bumpers, Never-before-seen animation sketches come to life, and a Featurette on the art of Hanna-Barbera sound. We've also been informed that, in addtion to the subtitles we previously mentioned, the set is also closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Good to know!
