Born as Children of the Atom, they will one day battle to defend the world from evil - and become the mightiest Mutant superheroes ever to conquer film, TV and comic books! Now, witness the dawn of their incredible adventure, as a small band of truly X-ceptional teens struggle to master their secret powers, triumph over their Mutant foes and begin their amazing evolution into...THE X-MEN!
On September 23rd, Warner Brothers is bringing out four different volumes of
X-Men Evolution on DVD: "Xplosive Days," "UnXpected Changes," "X-Marks the Spot," and the as-yet-untitled volume temporarily marked "Season 1 Vol 4."
The last part clues us in, apparently, that the plan might be for these to be the entire first season (13 episodes) in four separate DVDs that will hit the street on the same date. The last part is speculation, though, since Warner hasn't stated yet what will be on these 4 releases.
Each volume will have a $14.98 list price, and be available in the show's original 1.33:1 broadcast. English, Spanish, and Portuguese soundtracks - each in Dolby Surround Stereo - will grace every release. Each language will have subtitles, too, plus French subs as well.
Some basic artwork for "Xplosive Days" and "UnXpected Changes" is already available:
