Fans who want to own every episode of
The X-Files will be pleased to know that the
Season 8 release comes with this announcement about plans for the
Season 9 DVD set:
Besides being able to plan on a 6-disc S9 set for next Spring, though, Fox is also offering a mail-in rebate to try to tempt the less intense fans to complete their search for "The Truth".
In case that's too small to read, it states that there is a $20 rebate for purchasing any 2 seasons, a $40 rebate for buying 3, and a $60 rebate when you buy any 4 seasons of
The X-Files between November, 2003 and February, 2004. This offer is available by mail only, and specificly notes that it's not to be redeemed in stores.
