New York, NY, November 22, 2011 - SoapClassics today announced the release of "
Christmas in Oakdale," a DVD compilation of classic Christmas episodes from "
As the World Turns" (
ATWT). Soap Classics is the company which recently released the hit DVD "
20 ATWT Classics."

"
Christmas in Oakdale" features five of the most memorable Christmas episodes from the iconic series. The collection includes appearances by many of the programs's best-loved characters, including Nancy, Penny and Lisa. Also represented are famous couples such as Bob & Kim and Tom & Margo.
Mark Yates, President of Soap Classics, commented "we were astonished at the outpouring of support for our
20 ATWT Classics release. The fans really miss the series and its characters. They think of them like old friends and family members."
Yates continued "Because the fans are so fond of these characters, we thought they would appreciate an opportunity to reunite with them at Christmas. We loved these characters too, and we wanted this disc to be kind of like going to a Christmas party with all our old
ATWT friends. We think the fans will really enjoy it."
The
ATWT Christmas DVD retails for $12.95. It is available now at www.soapclassics.com, and also at www.amazon.com.
